It's that time of year: the leaves are turning gold, there's a nip in the air, you're tempted to dust off a scarf and go for a bracing stroll, but there's still the odd warm day offering a chance for a spot of late-summer basking. What to drink? Spicy reds will be perfect with the first frosts, but just now they still feel too heavy, so my tip is to get stuck into some rich whites.
