Interior design shops are dropping like flies all over the country but one woman is not letting that get to her, opening a new 'recession chic' shop. Liz LaCumber took me through her outlet in Coolmine, Co. Dublin, and one striking aspect is her use of colours to lift the spirit.
'Strong colours are emerging now in everything from fabrics to accessories,' she said.
'We want to be able to come in, close our doors and our curtains and snuggle up in comfort. Times are hard out there so more than ever we want our homes to cocoon and cosset us.'
