The Minister of Water and Electricity, Eng. Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman Al Hossein has signed 11 new contracts for implementation of water and sewage projects in the Eastern Region, with national firms specialized in these fields.

The cost of the contracts is SR 289,458,158 and the period of implementation allowed ranges between 3 months and 3 years.

The Director of Water in the Eastern Region, Eng. Ahmad Al Bassam said that the contracts include the projects detailed below:
