Taipei, Aug. 26, 2009 (CENS) -- Both the government and the private sector are gearing up in full swing to cope with the onset of new flu H1N1, which threatens to afflict seven million Taiwanese people, or one third of the local population, at its peak, according to the estimate of Kuo Hsun-sung, director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), under the Department of Health of the Executive Yuan, yesterday (Aug. 25).
