The Conference of Group Chairmen of the European Parliament has issued its verdict on the composition of the leadership of the different EP committees. The members selected as chairmen and vice-chairmen must now be confirmed at the inaugural meetings of each committee, between 16 and 20 July.
The following were proposed as chairmen (* = already confirmed by their committee, on 16 July):
AFET Foreign Affairs: Gabriele Albertini (*) (EPP)
DEVE Development: Eva Joly (Greens-EFA)
INTA International Trade: Vital Moreira (*) (S&D)
BUDG Budgets: Alain Lamassoure (*) (EPP)
CONT Budgetary Control: Luigi de Magistris (ALDE)
