Bahrain-based Inovest and Tharawat Investment House have announced the establishment of a joint venture water filter manufacturing facility in Bahrain.
The new venture will be known as Bahrain Water Technology Company (BWTC).
The project, which is a first of its kind in Bahrain, comes in response to pressing water scarcity issues in the GCC and Mena region, said a statement.
The cost of the project has not been revealed.
