The Committee on Ecology late last week ordered the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Northern Mindanao to suspend the processing of the environmental compliance certificate (ECC) of the proposed bioethanol plant pending a thorough investigation by Congress of the proposed project.
