WALLACEBURG, ONTARIO, Sep 8, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- On behalf of the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, Bev Shipley, Member of Parliament (Lambton-Kent-Middlesex), today announced funding for the Wallaceburg and District Historical Society.
This funding will support the Wallaceburg and District Museum, operated by the Society, with a preservation initiative and will improve facilities for the collection of artifacts, including the revolutionary multi-bullet Lee rifle from around 1840.
