WALTHAM, Mass. -- Astra Tech announces the launch of Atlantis[TM] patient-specific abutments in shaded zirconia. The new option for Atlantis abutments, in addition to the already existing materials of titanium, gold-shaded titanium and zirconia, offers clinicians the freedom and flexibility to provide their patients with truly esthetic results.
The abutment is milled from a solid shaded zirconia blank and designed from the final desired tooth-shape using the patented Atlantis VAD[TM] (Virtual Abutment Design) software.
