Here you go: a feast of fall films through Thanksgiving weekend, some of which sound pretty decent. Note that release dates are tentative and can change as rapidly as a vampire's mood.
The Awards Bait
It's Oscar season, and first in line are Mira Nair's "Amelia" (Oct. 23), with Hilary Swank as aviator Amelia Earhart; "The Road" (Oct. 9), the long-awaited adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's post-apocalyptic novel; "Bright Star" (Sept. 18), Jane Campion's tale of the poet John Keats' young romance; and "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire" (Nov. 20), the Sundance award-winner about an ...
