EXACTLY three years after it was displaced by First Bank Nigeria Plc, Nigerian Breweries Plc has regained its position as the most capitalised quoted company in the country.
With market capitalisation of N431.1 billion, Nigerian Breweries Plc displaced First Bank with N413.34 billion capitalisation, to the second position.
While Nigerian Breweries recorded a rise in market capitalisation by 8.6 per cent, 10.94 per cent drop in market capitalisation by First Bank paved the way for brewing giant to successfully regain the position it lost in August 2006.
