For writers, it's the journals of favorite authors that provide insights into literary processes and sources of inspiration. For artists, it's the sketchbooks of other artists that act as doorways into individual processes and the development of ideas.
Through Jan. 3, visitors to the Emerson Gallery at Hamilton College in Clinton can take in three exhibitions exploring the working processes of 13 artists.
