AS A NEW YORK CITY little league team made national sports coverage this July, New York's Matt Umanov Guitars made a cameo as the team's longtime sponsor. The Athletics, a team of 12year-olds from Greenwich Village, were featured as part of a New York Yankees community outreach initiative known as HOPE Week (Helping Others Persevere and Excel)---and subsequently earned spots on ESPN and The Today Show.
