While the commercial real estate market has had its share of problems this year, there are still some major sales occurring locally.
The No. 1 sale on the Business Journal's list of Top Commercial Real Estate Sales of 2009 is a $364 million deal involving a 54-community senior housing complex. Sunwest Management sold the property to an undisclosed buyer Jan. 22.
The list features the top San Diego County sales of the first half of the year, ranked by sale price of the properties, according to data provided by the Maryland-based CoStar Group.
