Sep 09, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian real estate investment trusts are expected to seek additional funding through the corporate bond market in the second half of 2009. The market froze in response to the global financial crisis, but Wesfarmer's recent $A500m medium-term notes issue has highlighted the sector's return. Local listed property trusts have raised more than $A4bn on the corporate bond market since March 2009.
