ETF Securities (ETFS), the company which in partnership with the Irish Stock Exchange has launched 13 funds on the Dublin market, announced last week that its global assets under management (AUM) now exceed $13bn, up 85pc or $6bn since the beginning of 2009.
The huge increase in AUM this year is the result of continued strong inflows into commodity based funds and also commodity-equity based funds.
Physically-backed gold funds have experienced the largest inflows, gathering over $1.4bn over the period.
