X-Cell completes enrollment in trial of Ethos I DES devices

X-Cell Medical (Princeton, New Jersey), a developer of drugs used with medical devices, reported completing enrollment in its multi-national clinical trial of its Ethos I Coronary Stent System. Ethos I stents are coated with slow-release and moderate-release formulations of 17 beta-estradiol, used in hormone replacement therapy and other indications.
Steve Peltier, X-Cell?s executive director of regulatory affairs, said, ?We are on track to present the full results from this study in mid-2006.?
