Childrens Hospital Boston broadcast a robot-assisted laparoscopic renal pyeloplasty live last month. The surgery is performed to remove an obstruction from a kidney and to reconnect the kidneys drainage system.
Craig Peters, MD, a urologic surgeon at Childrens Hospital and associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School (also Boston), performed the surgery.
