BEIJING, Sept 10 Asia Pulse - China's sales of homegrown cars totaled 176,200 units in August, accounting for 28 per cent of the total national car sales, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
Sales of cars of Japanese, German, American, South Korean and French brands each respectively reached 149,900 units, 133,900 units, 85,600 units, 62,600 units and 21,200 units in the same month, taking up 23.81 per cent, 21.28 per cent, 13.61 per cent, 9.93 per cent and 3.37 per cent of the country's total car sales.
