Microsulis adds $45M new funding; Spine Next raises 5th round $4.7M

Microsulis (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) reported raising $45 million in new funding, comprised of $25 million from two global venture capital institutions and $20 million from other new and existing shareholders.
The company said that the funds will be used primarily to accelerate the companys market launch of its Microwave Endometrial Ablation (MEA) product used by gynecologists in the U.S. and FDA-cleared in September 2003.
