LifePoint (Ontario, California) said it received FDA 510(k) clearance to market the LifePoint Impact Test System in conjunction with an opiate test for use in medical markets. The clearance of the rapid diagnostic testing, screening and drug monitoring device allows for use of the Impact Test System in hospital emergency rooms, laboratories, physician office laboratories, occupational health clinics and home healthcare.
