"Accumulated evidence suggests that amyloid-beta has a critical role in chronic neurodegenerative disorders Such as Alzheimer's disease," investigators in the United States report.
"Therefore, understanding of amyloid-beta fibrillization is a focus of interest for the development of innovative therapeutic and diagnostic applications. The fibrillization of amyloid-beta has similar growth characteristics of polymeric nanoparticles and current monitoring methods show only qualitative of static information," wrote Y. Choi and colleagues, University of California.
