BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- McDATA, the enterprise Fibre Channel company, announced the FC-9131 Simulator, the world's first Fibre Channel test tool to provide link-level capabilities -- the ability to interface to FC1 and FC2 levels in the protocol stack. The FC-9131 Simulator lets developers simulate the Fibre Channel switch protocol at gigabit-per- second data rates. Technicians interface through an easy-to-use Windows-based GUI with extensive, full-function online help screens and enhanced C programming.
