ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- U S WEST Communications today filed with the New Mexico State Corporation Commission (SCC) to provide New Mexicans interstate long-distance service from U S WEST Long Distance, offering customers the convenience of one-stop shopping and simple, easy-to-understand pricing at rates up to 60% less than the big long-distance companies' basic rates. If approved, U S WEST long-distance service could be available to New Mexico consumers and businesses late this year.
