Giant British defence group BAE Systems is looking at using technology developed by South African company Carl Zeiss Optronics in the next version of its latest helmet-mounted sight, the Q-Sight.
"South African technology is definitely under active consideration because it is technology we use on our integrated helmet display," says BAE Systems director for International Business Development: Defence Avionics Chris Colston.
