The moment Rita Phoenix leaves her back door a chorus of eager beagles begin their signature hound-dog howls.
They line the fence, bouncing on hind legs and jabbing wet noses through the holes.
Phoenix, the owner of The Family Dog Club, 1847 S. Centerville T np k ., chooses a dog to run the agility course that they all seem so adamant to enter.
Emily Lu, an 8-year-old rescued beagle, is the chosen one for the morning. She runs the course with Phoenix twisting her body toward each obstacle; pointing and guiding her dog.
