Kaplan Inc., the largest revenue-producing unit of The Washington Post Co., has added another source of sales in Australia.
The company announced Wednesday that it had acquired the Murdoch Institute of Technology, which offers courses to prepare students for direct entry into the Murdoch University of Perth, Australia. Kapan said it acquired the school from the Alexander Education Group but did not disclose the terms of the transaction.
The Murdoch Institute of Technology's programs include diplomas in commerce, information technology, mass communications and science taught at facilities on the Murdoch University campus.
