The Viet Nam Railway Corporation signed a contract for the consulting of an engineering services package for the Ha Noi City Urban Railway Construction Project yesterday, September 9, in Ha Noi.

The 74-month contract, worth about VND848 billion (US$47 million), will be for technical issues and designs for an elevated railway connecting Ngoc Hoi in the south and Yen Vien in the east of the capital.

The consulting project, financed by an ODA loan from the Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA), would be carried out by eight consulting firms from Japan and Viet Nam, said Tran Van Luc, director of the Railway Project ...
