How about a night of fine dining and art to support a noble cause -- midwifery and natural birth in Taos?

The Northern New Mexico Birth Center will hold its gala fundraiser dinner, with a silent and live auctions, Tuesday (Sept. 15) at Joseph's Table.

The silent auction and cocktails takes place in the lobby of Hotel La Fonda prior to dinner in the restaurant. Hugely popular in the community, the event is likely to sell-out quickly.

"We are extremely fortunate because we have a tremendous amount of support from the community," Joan Norris, a birth center midwife, said.
