The Chennai based Jeypore Sugar Company is setting up a sugarcane crushing unit at Pothavaram in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh at an investment of Rs 200 crore.
The 5,000 tccpd plant is likely to go on stream by early 2010. While the ancillary systems are being put up, the company has already completed plant and machinery erection.
