In Santa Barbara, the Pacific meets the Mediterranean to shape a city almost too lovely to be real
In the hills above Santa Barbara, crumbling mansion sits in an overgrown garden. Below it, one can follow twisting roads whose rock walls were cut by Italian stone-masons. Beyond is a sea of red-tile roofs and white stucco. And to the south lies the limitless blue Pacific.
