The Pub, a restaurant modeled after a classic British tavern, is scheduled to open at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peninsula Town Center in Hampton.
Owners Jeff Anderson, Tom Hoffman and Greg Knox established AHK Pub Investments in April 2008 and opened the first Pub in Fredericksburg in January. They licensed the concept from a man in Cincinnati who opened the original Pub and now owns a small chain of restaurants in three states.
Most of The Pub's furniture and accessories , including the wraparound bar, came from England. It can seat 250 people.
