Central Michigan University has been granted applicant school status by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, initiating the formal process required to accredit a new medical student education program.
Dr. Cam Enarson, a leading national expert in medical education and interim dean of CMU's medical school, filed the $25,000 application fee with the LCME in Chicago Aug. 5.
