AMESBURY, Mass.Flexaust Co. Inc. has opened a new facility in Amesbury that will be used for research and development, production and warehousing.
The maker of flexible hose and ducting leased the 14,000-sq.-ft. building and opened the operation in the spring but has yet to host a grand opening, said Mike O'Brien, Flexaust vice president of sales and marketing, who is based just five miles from the new unit in Newburyport, Mass.
O'Brien said the genesis of the new Amesbury plant goes back about 18 months. It started with the idea to bridge the R&D work between North America and Europe. Flexaust is part of the Schauenburg ...
