A TALENTED teenage footballer was repeatedly knifed in the legs after defending an Asian pal from racist abuse.
Peter Knotts, 15, who won the Golden Boot for his age group at Celtic Boys Club last season, now fears his promising career is in jeopardy.
The young striker's attackers, who were in their 20s, ambushed him outside his school after he confronted a fellow pupil who was abusing his friend.
Peter believes they deliberately stabbed him in the legs to stop him playing football.
