The country’s biggest organized group of Catholic schools, the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), begins its three-day National Convention Wednesday on the theme “Hold It in Trust: Leadership as Stewardship’’ at the historic landmark Manila Hotel.The CEAP, which was instituted in 1941 as a non-stock, non-profit voluntary organization, has 1,252 members and carries the mandate of upholding Catholic education in the spirit of communion and service, guided by Gospel values and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
