Trainer Eoin Harty was on top of the racing world earlier this year after Well Armed won the $6 million Dubai World Cup by 14 lengths.
Not only did the 46-year-old Irishman have big plans for the 6-year-old gelding the rest of the year, but he also was looking forward to a major campaign from 2008 Santa Anita Derby and Travers Stakes winner Colonel John.
But in horse racing, oftentimes your best plans don't always work out.
