Bill Stewart is an unabashed fan of all eight Big East Conference football teams. At least until his West Virginia Mountaineers have to play one of them.
"I always think about the conference," Stewart said Monday. "When we play out of conference I cheer for our teams. I believe in the Big East and think the Big East plays good football, and I want us to win every game out of the conference."
Stewart will have a lot of chances to cheer Saturday, as the eight Big East members go out of conference, five of them against fellow Bowl Championship Series teams. The two marquee matchups will pit Stewart's Mountaineers ...
