Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc., of Waltham, Mass., has suspended its Phase II trial for a growth-hormone therapy and is eliminating "substantially all of its remaining employees" over the next six weeks, it said in an SEC filing. The company said it has engaged creditors and vendors to "maximize the value of its assets." Previously the company reported it would probably run out of cash by October. As of June 30 it reported having $8.1 million in cash and cash equivalents
