Dubai, 15th Sept. 2009 (WAM) -- The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) signed today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which gives the DHA the authority to oversee the transportation and use of radiopharmaceutical drugs that are used across hospitals and clinics in Dubai.
Medical radioactive materials are supplied to hospitals and clinics in Dubai for medical purposes such as nuclear medicine, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Prior to the signing of this MoU, healthcare providers and companies which use and transport medical radioactive materials were required to seek the permission of multiple authorities, including ...
