Integration for building services: European professionals look for opportunities.

The move toward integration and interoperability of different technical building systems promises not only to ensure one point of responsibility but also to reduce cost. Integrated systems promote joint utilization of system components and interferences between system components. In the European construction industry, three task-oriented levels in the management and automation of building services have been identified, namely, management level, automation level, and field level.
