OXFORD - Selectmen learned last night that Worcester Superior Court Justice Richard T. Tucker has denied Aquarion Water Co.'s request for a preliminary injunction.
Aquarion had asked the court to declare the company "entitled to be compensated" for the proposed replacement of approximately 1,000 feet of water main on Main Street at an estimated cost of $315,000. The company had also asked the court to order the town "to place sufficient funds in escrow to pay for the water main replacement."
