SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 1998--Mitsubishi Electronics America Inc. announced today that its parent company, Mitsubishi Electric Corp., has garnered Microsoft Corp.'s PC 97 certification for its desktop personal computer version of the SuperDisk(TM) LS-120 floppy drive.

The 25.4-mm (one-inch) height SuperDisk drive is compatible with both SuperDisk diskettes, which hold up to 120 Mbytes of information, and today's standard 1.44-Mbyte floppy diskettes.
