(ADPnews) - Sep 16, 2009 - Environmentalists criticised today Austrian machinery specialist Andritz AG (WBAG:ANDR) for providing technology for a pulp factory on the Australian island of Tasmania.
The large-scale project will destroy 200,000 hectares (494,200 acres) of jungle and crucially endanger the Tasmanian devil, one of the rarest animals in the world, Bernd Loetsch, director of the Natural History Museum Vienna, said.
