TAXPAYERS are to lend more than pounds 1 million to developers to kick-start West Midlands housing schemes which had been scrapped or delayed because of the recession.
The firm behind a 50-home scheme near Birmingham city centre is to receive pounds 412,395 to help it get building work underway.
Funding is also going to projects in Sandwell and Rugeley, Staffordshire.
