17 September 2009 - Norwegian biotechnology company Aker BioMarine ASA (OSL: AKBM) said today it will borrow up to NOK90m from its main owner, industrial holding Aker ASA (OSL: AKER).

Initially, a loan of up to NOK50m will be drawn. The additional sum will be made available when Aker BioMarine has presented and received Aker's approval of a refinancing plan.

The collateral will be major company assets.
