Hebei Steel Group is China's largest steelmaker in August
Shanghai. September 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - Northern China's Hebei Iron and Steel Group was the country's largest steelmaker in August 2009 with crude steel production of 3.72 million tons, up 5.64 percent on a monthly basis, according to figures released by Mysteel Information on Sept. 16.
Hebei Steel Group's output over the first eight months amounted to 24.53 million tons, up 5.3 percent when compared with the same period of 2008.
Baoshan Iron and Steel Group (Baosteel Group) was the country's No. 2 steelmaker in August with a crude steel output of 3.63 million tons, up 2.99 percent from ...
