Business travelers returning

CHICAGO u UAL Corp.AEs United Airlines, the third-largest U.S. carrier, Wednesday said it expects a smaller decline in passenger unit revenue this quarter, signaling that some business travelers may be returning. Third-quarter passenger revenue from each seat flown a mile in UnitedAEs main jet operations may fall as much as 19 percent from a year earlier, the company said in a U.S. regulatory filing. Passenger unit revenue dropped about 20 percent in the second quarter. The forecast echoed a similar outlook from Delta Air Lines Inc. this week. UnitedAEs report indicates that bookings just before travel rose this month.
