WiSpots, a high-tech company providing sponsor-supported wireless access and tools that streamline healthcare practice operations, has merged with Worthington Healthcare Corporation (WHC). WHC offers medical transcription, dictation automation and electronic medical records management through a proprietary suite of software. The new entity, renamed WiFiciency (www.wificiency.com), brings a unique suite of solutions to the healthcare market that will improve productivity and eliminate many of the inefficiencies inherent in today's healthcare system (see also Life Sciences).
WiFiciency will serve as a holding company for the WiMedical, WiSpots, WiMedia, WiScription ...
