Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'A+' rating to the approximately $155 million 2009 series A and series B City of Wichita, Kansas hospital facilities refunding and improvement revenue bonds issued on behalf of Via Christi Health System, Inc. (Via Christi). Fitch also affirms Via Christi's outstanding debt at 'A+'. The Rating Outlook is revised to Positive from Stable (see also Fitch Ratings).
The series 2009 bonds are planned to be issued in fixed and variable-rate modes ($75 million fixed and $80 million variable) through the City of Wichita, Kansas. The variable-rate portion will be backed by a three-year letter of credit from JPMorgan Chase and Co. (rated ...
